At the end of the first lockdown we installed a Lincat CIBO in the Blind Monkey pub in Sheffield. The CIBO cooks 12” pizzas in just 2 minutes and with it’s touch screen display is super simple to use. As the hospitality sector begins to re-open demand for highly skilled kitchen staff has rocketed but the CIBO has allowed the Blind Monkey to serve over 100 pizzas per week without the need for a dedicated chef. At an average price of £8 per pizza, that’s an additional £40,000 per year in revenue. Not bad for an initial investment of £1850+VAT.
