Philly Cheesesteak Hoagie

🥪 Ingredients:

  • Sliced hoagie roll

  • 200g Shaved beef or steak strips

  • 50g Sautéed onions

  • 50g Sautéed red & green peppers

  • 2 slices Provolone cheese (or alternative melting cheese)

  • Butter or oil for toasting

 


 

⚙️ Oven Settings:

 

Stage 1: Time 1:10 / Fan 10% / Microwave 100%

Tray Used: Flat non-stick tray or liner


 

🔧 Method:

 

  1. Lightly toast the hoagie roll with butter or oil (optional).

  2. Layer in steak, sautéed onions, and peppers.

  3. Top generously with provolone cheese.

  4. Place on a flat tray, ensuring sandwich is OPEN not closed – ‘hoagies’ go a little too crispy when cooked shut

  5. Cook using above settings.

  6. Serve immediately — cheese should be melted and gooey.

Add a swipe of garlic mayo or mustard to the bread before toasting for extra depth of flavour!
